10月17日，D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission (JNC) announced that the current term of D.C. Court of Appeals Chief Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby will expire March 17, 2025. Judge Blackburne-Rigsby is eligible for redesignation for another four-year term and has notified the commission of her interest in being redesignated.
Active Court of Appeals judges are eligible to apply for the position. The commission invites any individual, 组织, or 酒吧 association to submit a written nomination of an eligible active judge with the judge’s consent.
